We just had our graduation. We were all happy to be able to get our diplomas which bears the fruit of success for our years of hard work. But with that happiness comes bitter moments. It’s kinda painful thinking that me and my friends are gonna have our own separate ways. I mean, we’ve been together for three years, and its just gonna end like that, boom. Well, what else can I do? Life sure does have its own way of ending joyous episodes in our lives. Its kinda heartbreaking though, No more backbiting, chatting, and debates. If only I could stop time, then I’d be spending my whole time with them.

So much for the heartaches, I wanna tell you about some of the fun moments we’ve had. During every after school, instead of taking a tricyle, we take a walk up until the jeepney terminal and it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes to get there. For that span of time, we’re able to have a lot of jokes to share, stupid ideas to tell, and a lot more unexpected comments coming from any member of the group. That’s more likely the usual routine we’ve had. As much I want to share, so little time I have. Till then! Ciao!

Many years I’ve waited just to have my own cellular phone. Thank God for all my generous benefactors and relatives who gave cash gifts that I was finally able to save enough money to have one! Guess what? It’s the new Samsung x510 model. I mean new for me. I can’t imagine I was able to get a clam type phone for my first. They say I deserved it.

I guess it was Christmas when I got my hands on it. Up to this time, I can’t let it go from my hands. Well I do sometimes but mostly only during when I do something else important. I spend a lot of time with it, take pictures, texting with my friends and etc. It’s very handy, especially when I move on to other places. It’s both light, cute and has great features. I got it for a good price and it was worth the bargain. Well, what more can I say?

It is always fun to play computer games. Specially when your hooked into it. It creates a world where only your imagination runs through. But based from experience, not all good things last forever. Because the only thing constant in this world is change. Hard to understand right? I personally had a hard time sinking that into my “coconut shell”. Even though things change, there’s a saying that goes, once a gamer, always a gamer.

You may not understand why a lot of the youth today are playing computer games, especially teenagers. But who could blame the youth for having such a playful spirit? Well, parents say that you should rather be reading than playing such violent, nonsense and time wasting games. Kill joy for us gamers right? Who could blame us if we enjoy more the company of computers than that of books. But sad to say, our parents got a point. Computer games might lift our spirits for some time, but it ain’t forever. So why don’t we try playing computer games while having books on our laps? Hard, but try it!

I’ve always been fascinated by the scenery when the night comes. Especially when the moon comes out. It’s like an invigorating event where your body and soul replenishes its consumed energy during the day. God sure is a one of a kind artist. From the smallest piece to the biggest thing, He sure does it perfectly. It’s becoming my hobby to look at the moon during nightfall, ‘coz it lifts up my spirit. It also gives me a quiet time to reflect things which I have done or failed to do during the day.

There’s just some things i can’t explain to why, but the moon sure does have something in it that penetrates my deepest emotions. It creates an atmosphere of silence which in fact is a great feeling for me to reflect on my life.

It’s been quite like this for sometime and I’m kinda feeling nuts. It seems that I enjoy being swept away by the wind. Constantly changing sides. But deep inside I know that what I’m doing is wrong. That’s why I’m trying to break free, from this prison I myself created.

With the help of my family and friends, I’m slowly getting out from the shackles that almost contained my very soul. Now I see a road. Quite familiar it seems, like I’ve been here before. A strong feeling of happiness runs through my very veins. Which awakened my senses, this is the road where I used to walk. Now that I’m here, seems that I made it!

My brother Zoen started teaching me how to play guitar when I was 17 years old and in my 2nd year of high-school. My fingertips were in pain every time I clipped and strummed the guitar strings but it was quite fun. All the more because I knew I was going to learn new chords for me to play the songs that I like. When I reached third year high-school, my classmate invited me to join their band. We had our practice every after school for us to be ready with our performance in the upcoming Battle of the Bands local competition. We wanted to join the battle of the bands held during the Fiesta of Carmen for experience.

To our pleasant surprise, we won first runner-up and got our first trophy. We placed the trophy in our school’s ‘Trophies of Marians’ section at St. Mary’s Academy of Carmen. Though our school didn’t support us during the said competition, we still persevered and did our best. . . Rock On!

Basketball is one of the most popular and widely viewed sports in the world.

When I was in grade school, I used to be the “Ball Captain” and Point Guard of our SBP (Small Basketball Players) basketball team. Being a Ball Captain and Point Guard is not easy because you must be the fastest player on the team while leading the team’s offense.
When I was in sixth grade, I was still the Ball Captain and Point Guard in our varsity team. I also received an award for being the Ball Captain and my team winning third place during the inter school competition.

I’d play for every minute I could. My social life is like nothing, except for when talk to my friends at school. Also, another factor that intervened with the addiction was getting a girlfriend. Less time playing computer games, more time talking to her and going on dates. LoL!

I mean, the only way I see to break the addiction is…getting an actual life. Don’t get me wrong, I love having a life, and I love gaming. You just need to find a balance of the two. Sounds nice, but in reality, it’s just as bad. Don’t fool yourself.

I’ve had some awful hangovers from alcohol but never anything too bad from a marathon gaming session. There is no doubt that gaming is addictive to some people. While gaming is my favorite hobby, I believe I’m not an addict because I could stop at any time. LoL! There’s no doubt gaming can be a bad addiction, though plain and simple common sense can go a long way.
